The history of the jersey t: The 2010/2011 Olympique de Marseille third jersey is one of the most original and iconic in the club's recent history. Designed by Adidas , it features a black base enhanced by a wide vertical stripe in red, yellow and green , in homage to the African origins of many of the squad's players and the multicultural identity of Marseille. During that season, OM, then the title holder, finished 2nd in Ligue 1 behind Lille, and had a great run in the Champions League , reaching the round of 16. The club also won the Champions Trophy and retained its title in the Coupe de la Ligue .
