Shirt Description : Liverpool's home shirt from 2002 to 2004. A sleek, modern design by Reebok, featuring a slim fit, a white crossover collar contrasting with the deep red of the shirt, and the iconic Carlsberg sponsor flocked in the center. Embroidered club crest, embroidered Reebok logo, and official Premier League patches sewn on the sleeves. This model is flocked with Owen #10 on the back. The shirt has only a slight thread pull on the front under the sponsor.
History of the shirt : This shirt accompanied the Reds under the management of Gérard Houllier, in a transitional period where Liverpool were laying the foundations for their future success. It was also the last shirt worn by Michael Owen , Ballon d'Or 2001 winner, before his departure to Real Madrid in 2004.
