The history of the jersey : During this season, Borussia Dortmund experienced a transitional period with mixed results in the Bundesliga. Despite the lack of titles, this period marked the end of a cycle for the survivors of the 1997 generation. Defender Madouni , who arrived that year, played several league and UEFA Cup matches with the club. This jersey is the last produced by the Goool brand , a rare kit supplier that was only used for one season by BVB.
