Jersey history: The year 2008 was particularly significant for Cameroon and Samuel Eto’o. During the 2008 AFCON in Ghana, the Indomitable Lions reached the final after notably eliminating Tunisia and then Ghana, before falling 1-0 to Egypt. Eto’o scored 5 goals during the tournament and became the all-time top scorer in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations on that occasion, surpassing Laurent Pokou's record. A major period in the international career of the Cameroonian legend.
