Shirt History: This season marked the beginning of Sevilla FC 's European dominance, winning their first UEFA Cup a few months later. Saviola, on loan from Barcelona, played a key role in the team's attacking drive. The Andalusian club finished 5th in La Liga , laying the foundations for a golden generation under Juande Ramos.
