Jersey Description: Black and white home jersey with wide vertical stripes, sponsored by Northern Rock, with sky blue trim on the collar and sleeves. Premier League patches on the sleeves and Owen number 10 flocked on the back. Very well preserved.
Jersey History: This jersey represents a significant season for Newcastle, who were trying to return to the top of the Premier League. Michael Owen, former Ballon d'Or winner, wore the armband and remained one of the leaders of a team then managed by Sam Allardyce, and later Kevin Keegan at the end of the season.
